ARA---------------------------The high-profile Bharat Tiwari encounter case in Bilauti village, Bhojpur district, Bihar, has taken a new turn. An inquiry commission headed by retired Patna High Court Judge Vinod Kumar Sinha arrived in Bilauti village on Wednesday; the team inspected the scene of the incident and met the family of the deceased, Bharat Tiwari, to hear their side. During this visit, Bharat Tiwari's mother became furious upon seeing the STF (Special Task Force) accompanying the team.

Visibly emotional, Bharat Tiwari's mother demanded strict action against those responsible for her son's death. Objecting to the presence of the STF with the inquiry team, she stated that the STF was responsible for the killing, yet they were present with the team conducting the probe. She insisted that her son's killers be hanged and demanded a CBI investigation into the entire matter.

"The judge told me to submit a written statement and assured me of justice. I have demanded the death penalty from the judge for everyone involved. The STF personnel who played a role in getting Bharat killed were standing right here with the team. Don't I recognize them? Everyone—from the STF personnel who fired the shots to the one who gave the order—should be hanged." – Asha Devi, Bharat Tiwari's mother.

Demand for capital punishment for the guilty: The FIR registered against the family members of Bharat Tiwari—who was killed in a police encounter—has been withdrawn; Asha Devi, Bharat Tiwari's mother, confirmed this. She mentioned that the STF personnel who fired at her son had also arrived with the team. She told the judge that the person who fired the shot should be given the death penalty.

"This is my only demand from the government; I want nothing else. I have faith in the court and demand a CBI inquiry into the case." – Asha Devi, Bharat Tiwari's mother.

Judicial inquiry into the case begins: The judicial inquiry into the Bharat Tiwari encounter case has commenced. The inquiry team is being led by retired Patna High Court Justice Vinod Kumar Sinha. The team visited Bilauti village, where they met the deceased's family members and gathered information regarding all aspects of the incident.

Bharat Bhushan Tiwari died in a police encounter in Bilauti village (under the Shahpur police station area) on June 17. The police maintain that they had to open fire in self-defense, whereas the family alleges that he was shot after surrendering. Meanwhile, a viral video clearly shows Bharat having discarded his pistol. A case has been registered against five police personnel, including the SDPO and the SHO, in connection with the matter.
