ARA-------------------------An incident involving the assault of a truck driver near Dhandiha village in Bhojpur district has come to light. The driver sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The injured driver, Rajkumar Ram, stated that he was driving his truck when some locals stopped him and forcibly demanded money. According to the driver, when he refused to pay, the accused attacked him with sticks, causing severe injuries. Following the incident, the injured driver was rushed to the hospital with the help of locals, where he remains under medical care and observation. Rajkumar Ram has submitted a formal complaint to the concerned police station, demanding legal action against the accused under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Confirming receipt of the complaint, the police stated that the matter is being investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken following the inquiry.
