ARA-----------------------------A condolence meeting was held on Tuesday at Bandhan Tola in the city to mark the *Shraddh* (memorial) ceremony of Nand Kishore Prasad—popularly known as Jamuna Ji—who was a former State Secretary of the CPI (ML) and a long-time member of the party's Politburo. At the gathering, the MP from Ara, MLAs, former MLAs, senior party leaders, and activists paid their respects by offering floral tributes at his portrait.

Speakers remarked that Nand Kishore Prasad (Jamuna Ji) had dedicated his entire life to the struggle for the rights and entitlements of the working class, the poor, farmers, and laborers. He was among the pioneering leaders of the party in Bhojpur and served as a key pillar in the party's establishment and expansion across Bihar.

He was held in high esteem by party cadres and the general public alike due to his simplicity, ideological commitment, organizational acumen, and unwavering dedication to the people's cause. His passing represents an irreparable loss not only for the CPI (ML) but for the entire democratic and people's movement.
