ARA--------------------------------Three people died on the spot and several others were critically injured in a tragic road accident on Sunday morning within the Bihiya police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. The accident occurred on the Ara-Buxar four-lane highway near Rahi Hotel in Amrai Nawada, where a speeding Scorpio carrying passengers lost control and rammed into a trailer parked on the roadside. The impact was so severe that the Scorpio was completely wrecked, and the occupants were trapped inside.

According to eyewitnesses, the Scorpio was speeding from Ara towards Buxar on Sunday morning. As it neared Rahi Hotel in Amrai Nawada, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Scorpio then crashed directly into the rear of the parked trailer. Hearing the sound of the massive collision, locals rushed to the scene.

Chaos ensued at the site following the accident. The front of the Scorpio was completely mangled, trapping several passengers inside. Local villagers immediately initiated rescue operations. After a strenuous effort, they managed to extricate the injured from the vehicle and alerted the police.
