ARA------------------------The 124th two-day annual Urs of Sultan-ul-Mashaykh Hafiz Shah Mohammad Fariduddin Arvi (Rahmatullah Alaih) will be organized on July 11 and 12 under the patronage of *Pir-e-Tariqat* Al-Haj Abdus Salam Sahib at the *Ruhani* and *Markazi* (Spiritual and Central) Khanqah Faridiya, located in the Mirganj area of Ara city, Bhojpur district.
On July 11 (Saturday), the *Parcham Kushai* (flag-hoisting) ceremony will take place after the *Asr* prayer. The *Mahfil-e-Milad-e-Pak* (gathering to celebrate the Prophet's birth) will be held after the *Maghrib* prayer. Following the *Isha* prayer, learned scholars (*Ulama*) arriving from all corners of India will deliver speeches. Subsequently, the *Chadar-poshi* (offering of the ceremonial cloth) will take place at the *Astana* (shrine) of Sultan-ul-Mashaykh, followed by the *Langar-khani* (community feast).
On the morning of July 12 (Sunday) at 6:00 AM, *Chadar-poshi* will be performed at the shrines of Shah Maslauddin (Rahmatullah Alaih) and Moin Babu Shah (Rahmatullah Alaih) in Bhaluhipur. At 8:00 AM, *Quran-khani* (recitation of the Quran) will be held at Khanqah Faridiya, Mirganj, followed by the *Kul* and *Fateha* ceremonies.
The Khanqah committee stated that the *Langar-khani* would be organized after the *Fateha* on the second day of the Urs. Speaking on the occasion, the President of the Khanqah, Maulana Abdus Salam Faridi, mentioned that Sultan-ul-Mashaykh had personally laid the foundation of Khanqah Faridiya in Ara city to propagate the faith (*Deen*). Today, he has hundreds of thousands of devotees spread across Ara city, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, and every corner of the country. Sultan-ul-Mashaykh Hafiz Shah Mohammad Fariduddin Arvi (may Allah have mercy on him) spent his entire life serving humanity alongside worshipping Allah—a legacy that remains visible at the Khanqah to this day. At the Khanqah, lessons on serving fellow human beings are imparted alongside spiritual worship; it is a place where the prayers and wishes of all people are fulfilled.
