STUDENT MURDERED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA-------------------------A student was murdered by having his throat slit in Masarh village, under the jurisdiction of the Gajrajganj Outpost (OP), late Friday evening after he had stepped out of his home to buy some items. His body was recovered from the village's Dalit Tola late that evening. Cut marks were found on the left and right sides and the back of the deceased's neck, as well as on his head. Family members allege that he was murdered by having his throat slit and his body subsequently dumped. The incident has caused a sensation in the village and surrounding areas.

Upon receiving the information, Sadar SDPO-1 Rajkumar Sah and Gajrajganj OP In-charge Chanchal Kumar Mahtha arrived at the scene and began investigating the matter. The police had the post-mortem examination conducted at Sadar Hospital. According to reports, the deceased was 18-year-old Pritam Kumar Singh, son of the late Mithilesh Singh, a resident of Masarh village. He was an Intermediate-level student.

Meanwhile, Gajrajganj OP In-charge Chanchal Mahtha informed 'Khabrein Aapki' that the knife used in the murder was recovered from the scene. An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team collected evidence from the site. He stated that the family members have not clearly specified the motive behind the incident; however, the police are conducting their own investigation. The incident has plunged the deceased's household into grief, with family members inconsolable.
