ARA-------------------------A massive protest demonstration was held at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday, demanding justice for the death of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari—a resident of Bilauti village in the Shahpur block of Bihar's Bhojpur district—who died in an alleged police encounter. People from Bihar and several other states gathered in large numbers for the protest, which lasted from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, demanding strict action against the guilty.

The mother of the deceased, Asha Devi, his sister Ruby Devi, and his younger brother Chandan Tiwari were present on the stage during the demonstration. Yadav Ramsakal Singh Bhojpuria, the Bhojpur District President of the Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Mahasangh, also participated in the protest to show solidarity with the family. In his address, he termed the incident a premeditated murder, stating that what the police are calling an encounter was, in reality, a brutal killing committed by uniformed personnel. He strongly demanded the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Team to conduct a high-level inquiry into the entire episode.

Yadav Ramsakal Singh Bhojpuria held the reckless statements made by Bihar's Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary responsible for this tragic incident. He demanded that the government ensure an impartial investigation, immediately arrest all accused police officers and personnel, and ensure a speedy trial so that the aggrieved family could receive justice as soon as possible.

A large number of intellectuals and public representatives attended the protest meeting at Jantar Mantar. Prominent figures present included Shyam Kumar Munnu, former MLA Sanjay Tiwari (alias Munna Tiwari), Yamini Ranjan Mishra, Nagesh Samrat, Daksh Chaudhary, Deepak Pandit, Haryana Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats, Pankaj Tripathi, Saroj Tripathi, and Ramesh Kumar Sudama; thousands of supporters also attended to back the demand for justice. This protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, originating from Bilauti village, clearly demonstrates that a large section of society is united in the quest for justice for Bharat Bhushan Tiwari's family and is committed to continuing this fight until the guilty are punished for their actions.
