ARA-----------------------------Upendra Singh, the former village head (Mukhiya) of Hasanpura Panchayat in Bhojpur district, along with his family members, met with a road accident while traveling to visit the famous Pashupatinath Temple in Nepal. The accident occurred near Doriganj in Chhapra district when a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction rammed into their Scorpio vehicle. Eyewitnesses stated that the impact was so severe that the Scorpio was badly mangled. Given the condition of the vehicle, survival seemed unlikely, but by the grace of God, all passengers survived. Those injured in the accident include former Mukhiya Upendra Singh, his wife Seema Singh, his sons Karan Singh and Shambhu Singh, Shambhu's wife Rinku Singh, and two children, Gaurav Singh and Saurabh Singh. All the injured were immediately brought from the accident site to Ara Sadar Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. According to family members, most sustained minor injuries, while Karan Singh, who was driving the Scorpio, suffered serious injuries. He is receiving treatment under medical supervision. Locals reported that the truck was speeding, making the head-on collision particularly horrific. Chaos ensued at the scene following the crash, and the injured were pulled out of the vehicle with the help of passersby. The police have initiated an investigation, taken the damaged vehicles into custody, and are proceeding with further action.
