BUXAR---------------------------Rotary Club Buxar launched the 2026-27 term impressively, centering on service, respect, and social engagement. On the very first day of their tenure, the club's newly appointed President, Nirmal Kumar Singh, and his team visited the homes and offices of over 50 doctors and numerous Chartered Accountants in the city to honor them on the occasion of National Doctors' Day and Chartered Accountants' Day (CA Day). Through this initiative, the club conveyed its commitment to service, respect, and public welfare within the community.

This felicitation ceremony was organized to mark the birth and death anniversary (July 1) of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy—a renowned Indian physician, freedom fighter, and former Chief Minister of West Bengal. National Doctors' Day is observed annually on July 1 to commemorate his unparalleled contributions to the fields of medicine and public service.

Speaking on the occasion, President Nirmal Kumar Singh stated that the objective of Rotary Club Buxar is not merely to organize social events, but also to honor individuals who exemplify public service through their work. He remarked that doctors are guardians of human life, while Chartered Accountants play a pivotal role in strengthening the nation's economic system; honoring such dedicated professionals is a responsibility the society owes to them.

He expressed confidence... It was stated that the new term of Rotary Club Buxar would work towards bringing about positive change in society through public welfare initiatives in areas such as service, education, health, environmental conservation, and assistance to the needy. The club will prioritize various social and humanitarian service projects throughout the year.

Additionally, Chartered Accountants Kumar Sagar, Vivek Kumar, Akash Goyal, and Vikas Kumar were honored.

Rotarians Rakesh Kumar Singh, Rohtas Goyal, Vinay Kumar, Rajesh Kesari, Gopal Kesari, Krishnanand Singh, Deepak Agarwal, Amarnath, Shivadhar Tiwari, Arun Singh, Naresh Poddar, and S.M. played key roles in making this felicitation campaign a success.
