BUXAR-------------------------It was a moment of immense pride for Rotary Buxar—an affiliate of Rotary International—when several members of the organization achieved the distinction of becoming ‘Major Donors,’ thereby setting a new benchmark for service and dedication. This achievement not only brought honor to the Rotary family but also established an inspiring identity for social service within the district. On this occasion, Rotarian Dr. Dilshad Alam was specially felicitated as a ‘Major Donor.’ His generosity, spirit of service, and unwavering dedication to society were widely lauded by those present. Speakers remarked that his contributions are playing a pivotal role in driving positive change within the community and will serve as a source of inspiration for others.

During the event, other members of Rotary Buxar were also honored for their remarkable contributions. Among them, Dr. R.K. Singh was accorded the status of a Level-2 ‘Major Donor,’ while Pradeep Jaiswal, Pradeep Chaurasia, Deepak Agarwal, and Dr. Dilshad Alam were honored as Level-1 ‘Major Donors.’ Through their actions, all of them demonstrated that service is, indeed, the highest form of duty.

Rotary office-bearers stated that the organization's core motto—‘Service Above Self’—is not merely a slogan, but an inspiring philosophy of life that these Rotarians have truly embodied through their deeds.

On behalf of the entire Rotary Buxar family, all the honored members were congratulated, and best wishes were extended for their bright future. Furthermore, hope was expressed that this achievement of theirs would continue to inspire even more people to engage in social service in the times to come. Several members of Rotary Buxar, including Manoj Kumar Verma (Secretary, 2024-25 & 2026-27), were present on this occasion.
