ARA-------------------------The Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Bhojpur held a review meeting with officials from relevant departments and representatives of various banks regarding the effective implementation of the 'Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana' (Prime Minister's Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme). The primary objective of the meeting was to assess the progress of applications received under the scheme and ensure the speedy disposal of pending cases so that eligible beneficiaries could receive the scheme's benefits in a timely manner.

During the meeting, the DDC conducted a detailed review of the pending applications and instructed all bank representatives to expedite the processing of these cases at their respective levels in accordance with the rules. He emphasized that no eligible beneficiary's application should remain pending unnecessarily and that all procedural steps must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Progress regarding the installation of solar panels was also discussed during the review. The DDC directed the concerned agencies to complete the installation of solar panels at the homes of approved beneficiaries without delay. He made it clear that any negligence or unnecessary delay in the scheme's implementation would not be tolerated.

Instructing all relevant departments and agencies to work in coordination, he emphasized the need to ensure the timely achievement of the scheme's set targets. Officials were also directed to regularly monitor the scheme, review progress, and promptly resolve any issues faced by the beneficiaries.

The DDC stated that the 'Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana' is a significant initiative by the Central Government aimed at reducing electricity costs for eligible families by integrating them with solar energy and promoting clean energy. He urged all concerned officials to work with a sense of responsibility and sensitivity to ensure the scheme's effective implementation, thereby enabling the maximum number of eligible families to benefit from this ambitious program.
