BHABHUA-----------------------A tragic road accident occurred early Thursday morning—between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM—opposite the Banshidhar Petrol Pump in Pusauli, within the Kudra police station area. A speeding truck loaded with iron rods (rebar) lost control and collided with the highway divider. The impact was so severe that the truck's cabin was completely destroyed. The heavy load of iron rods shifted forward, crushing the cabin and killing both occupants instantly. Upon receiving news of the accident, the Kudra police and the NHAI patrolling team immediately rushed to the scene. After considerable effort... Both bodies were retrieved from the truck's damaged cabin following the accident. Traffic was disrupted for a while but was later restored by the police and the NHAI team.
The deceased have been identified as the driver, Shankar Yadav (son of Jagannath Yadav, from Bergi village, Dumri police station area, Giridih district, Jharkhand), and the second individual, Bhuvneshwar Yadav (son of the late Devchand Yadav, from Kudari village, Bagodar, Jharkhand).
Preliminary information suggests that one of the deceased was the truck owner, while the other was the driver. However, the police are investigating all aspects and working to determine the exact cause of the accident.
After completing the necessary legal formalities, the Kudra police sent both bodies to Sadar Hospital, Bhabhua, for post-mortem examinations. The families have been informed of the incident, plunging them into grief.
According to eyewitnesses, the sound of the collision was so loud that people nearby immediately rushed to the scene. The severity of the crash was evident from the fact that the front section of the truck was completely mangled.
The police are currently conducting a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident. Initial estimates suggest that speeding, the driver dozing off, or a loss of vehicle control could be the likely causes. The actual reason will only be revealed following the post-mortem report and further investigation.
