ARA----------------------------The Bihiya police team has achieved a significant breakthrough in the high-profile Rajesh murder case. Police apprehended the prime accused from within the police station area. A country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. The Superintendent of Police released a press note on Sunday confirming these details.

According to reports, the arrested individual is Yogendra Yadav—son of the late Chhotu Yadav and a resident of Tipura village under the Bihiya police station area. He is the prime named accused in the Rajesh Yadav murder case.

It is worth noting that on the evening of July 12, armed miscreants shot and killed Rajesh Yadav—who had been released on bail from jail two months prior—in Kateya Tipura village, within the Bihiya police station area. He was shot four times in the back of the head at close range.

He succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Acting swiftly, the police had previously raided the accused's home and recovered a country-made pistol.

The deceased, Rajesh, had gone to Kateya village on a motorcycle with his uncle, Hulas Yadav, to fetch medicine for his mother. On their way back, near Kateya Tipura village, Yogendra Yadav and his associates surrounded Rajesh and killed him by firing four rapid shots.

Meanwhile, the deceased's uncle, Joginder Yadav, stated that while Rajesh had disputes with one or two people in the village, he had no conflict with the accused. He accused Yogendra Yadav and his accomplices of shooting and killing his nephew.
