POLICE STARTS TO CONNECT PEOPLE DIRECTLY

ARA----------------------The Bihar Police have opened up an easy channel for direct communication with the public and for the quick resolution of their problems. Through social media and various media platforms, the police have clarified that citizens can now directly contact the Director General of Police (DGP) control room with their complaints, suggestions, or any other issues. The objective is to prevent people from having to visit police stations or offices repeatedly and to ensure that they receive timely assistance.

According to police headquarters, 112 remains active as the emergency helpline for the DGP control room, as before. In addition, the numbers 9031829339 and 9031829340 have also been issued. Citizens can call these numbers to register complaints related to police services, offer suggestions, or share feedback on any matter. The police claim that prompt action will be taken on all information received to maintain public trust in the system.

Director General of Police Vinay Kumar has also conveyed the message that the police system can be made more effective and responsive only with public participation. Therefore, citizens are encouraged to make maximum use of these helpline facilities and communicate directly with the police so that problems can be resolved in a timely manner.
