POLICE ARRESTED A SMUGGLER WITH 1.317KG OF GANJA

BHABHUA------------------------In a major move under the ongoing campaign against narcotics, the Kudra police arrested an accused person with approximately 1.317 kg of cannabis at Pusauli Gola. This operation, conducted based on a tip-off, caused a stir in the area.

According to reports, the Kudra police had received information regarding the illegal sale and smuggling of cannabis in the Pusauli Gola area. Acting swiftly on this information, the police conducted a raid with a large force. During the raid, Bihari Ram—son of the late Mallu Ram and a resident of Ghantav village—was arrested with the cannabis.

The police recovered approximately 1.317 kg of cannabis from the accused's possession. A crowd gathered at the scene during the operation. Given the seriousness of the matter, Block Development Officer Shambhavi Srivastava arrived at the site to oversee further action. ...was directed.

The arrested accused has been brought to the Kudra police station and is being interrogated. The police are working to ascertain the source of the seized cannabis and the areas where it was being supplied. Additionally, other individuals involved in this illegal trade will be identified, and action will be taken against them.
