BHABHUA-------------------------In a major breakthrough regarding a life-threatening attack on a youth returning from a wedding, the police have arrested the main accused. On the night of February 24, 2026, Ravindra Kumar—a resident of Goraipur village within the Bhabhua police station area of ​​Kaimur district—was returning after attending a wedding ceremony when he was ambushed by criminals lying in wait at a secluded spot along the route. The attackers shot Ravindra Kumar in the chest, leaving him critically injured. Immediately following the incident, he was rushed to the Trauma Center in Varanasi for treatment, where timely medical intervention saved his life. An FIR had been registered against three named accused individuals in connection with this case. Acting swiftly, the police arrested the main accused—the shooter, Vijay Kumar—from the Chandni Chowk area of ​​Mohania. During a press conference, Bhabhua SDPO Manoranjan Bharti stated that the accused is being produced before the Honorable Court, and further legal proceedings are underway. Currently, the police are actively engaged in a search for the other accused individuals involved in this case.
