BHABHUA------------------------------On Friday, the administration adopted a strict stance against the illegal use of domestic gas cylinders in the Belav and Sawar markets within the block. Block Supply Officer Tejaswi Anand conducted an intensive inspection drive across various hotels and shops. During the inspection, the Block Supply Officer examined several establishments, including Kavya Restaurant (Belav), as well as other shops and eateries. The primary objective of the drive was to curb the illegal use of domestic LPG cylinders within commercial establishments. During the inspection, the Supply Officer issued strict directives to shopkeepers, emphasizing that only commercial-grade cylinders must be used for business purposes. He warned that using domestic gas cylinders is a punishable offense under the law, and strict legal action would be initiated against anyone found in violation. Fines may also be imposed on those who disregard safety standards. This sudden inspection created an atmosphere of commotion among the shopkeepers of Belav and Sawar markets, which persisted for quite some time. The block administration has made it clear that such surprise inspections will continue in the future to ensure that the misuse of domestic gas is completely curbed.
