POLICE ARE INFLUENCING THE INVESTIGATION: MOTHER

ARA----------------------------Hulas Pandey, State President of the LJP Parliamentary Board and former MLC, visited the family of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, who was killed in the Bilauti encounter in the district. While consoling Bharat Tiwari's parents and family members, he said, "I have not come here as a politician, but as a member of the family."

"The late Bharat Bhushan Tiwari was a voice for the poor and downtrodden; he harbored no caste-based prejudices and always stood up for the needy. I will not let his sacrifice go in vain. There are no words to describe the manner in which this patriot was shot dead.

This is a heinous act; those responsible for his murder will be punished." He stated that a memorial would be built in Bharat's name. "Bharat Bhushan lives on in everyone's hearts; his sacrifice will not be in vain. He was a voice for the youth, and will continue to be so. Our leader will soon meet the bereaved family."

The late Bharat Bhushan Tiwari's mother, Asha Devi, and his sister told former MLC Hulas Pandey that officers had come in the dead of night to threaten them. They claimed the officers said, "Your brother was a criminal; do not give statements to the media, as it will influence the investigation." Hulas Pandey assured them that the investigation would be impartial.

Present on the occasion were LJP District President Rajeshwar Paswan, Vidyanand Pandey (Shahpur), youth leader Vipul Singh, Bidul Pandey, Nileshwar Upadhyay, Mayur Pandey, Amrit, Rajesh Sahu, Abhay Pandey, and hundreds of others.
