PAHADICHAK GETS GIFT OF ROAD AFTER INDEPENDENCE

BUXAR-------------------------In Pahadichak village of Ekraasi Panchayat, under the Brahmapur assembly constituency of the district, the dream of road construction is finally coming true for the first time since independence. Thanks to the continuous efforts of the Panchayat head, Kamal Pratap Singh, a major step has been taken towards connecting the village to the main road. The surveying process for the road construction has been completed, and the construction work has also begun.

Giving information in this regard, Panchayat head Kamal Pratap Singh said that until now, Pahadichak village was not connected to the main road since independence, due to which the villagers faced immense difficulties in commuting, education, healthcare, and employment.

He informed that the funds for this road have been sanctioned on the recommendation of former MLC and Sandesh MLA Radhacharan Sah.

A total of 1.900 kilometers of road will be constructed from Bhadsari canal bridge to Pahadichak village. Under this scheme, the contract amount for the construction work has been fixed at Rs. 1 crore 57 thousand 184, while an amount of Rs. 17 lakh 1 thousand 196 has been sanctioned for five years of maintenance.

On the occasion of the commencement of the road construction work, the SDO, overseer, contractor Dilip Yadav, contractors Nipu Pandey, Chandan Pandey, Rohit Singh, and a large number of villagers were present. The villagers showed great enthusiasm regarding the road construction.

The villagers said that this road is nothing short of a blessing for them. It will not only facilitate transportation but will also give new impetus to the overall development of the village. The people expressed their gratitude to Panchayat head Kamal Pratap Singh and the public representatives, calling it a historic initiative.
