BUXAR-----------------------------On the occasion of World Meditation Day, special meditation sessions were organized at the Central Jail and Police Lines in Buxar district with the aim of promoting mental peace, self-control, and positive thinking. Both programs were conducted in a calm, disciplined, and positive atmosphere.

The meditation session at the Central Jail, Buxar, began with the lighting of a lamp. This session was conducted by social worker, spiritual teacher, and Art of Living instructor Varsha Pandey, in which a large number of inmates participated. During the session, the inmates were given detailed information about the importance of meditation, mental peace, self-control, and a positive outlook on life. Varsha Pandey said that meditation is a powerful means of bringing about positive changes within a person, which reduces mental stress and brings balance to life.

Meanwhile, more than 300 police personnel and officers participated in the meditation session held at the Police Lines, Buxar. On this occasion, Headquarters DSP Pankaj Singh and Traffic DSP Santosh Singh, along with other officers, were present and experienced mental peace and concentration through meditation themselves.

In her address, Varsha Pandey said that the police force works under constant mental pressure between duty, discipline, and service; in such a situation, meditation is an effective means of maintaining mental balance, sensitivity, and inner strength. She said that meditation increases decision-making ability and develops a positive attitude towards work.

On this occasion, Headquarters DSP Pankaj Singh said that such meditation sessions are extremely useful for the mental health of police personnel, reducing stress and increasing concentration and patience. He emphasized the need to continue such events regularly.

At the Central Jail program, Jail Deputy Superintendent Sandeep Kumar Verma, Assistant Superintendent Sudhir Kumar Saurav, Assistant Superintendent Sanjay Kumar, and Assistant Superintendent Resham Kumari, along with other jail staff, were present.
