BUXAR-------------------------------Blood Buxar organized a blood donation camp on Saturday. The camp was organized on the occasion of the birthday of Priyesh, the founder and director of Blood Buxar. With the message "Beautiful Life Only on Donating Blood," a blood donation camp and blood donation awareness campaign was held on December 20, 2025, from 10 AM onwards at Madhya Lohandi Bhawan, R.N. Path, behind Nagar Parishad, Buxar.

The camp was jointly inaugurated by Red Cross Chairman Suresh Agarwal, Secretary Shravan Tiwari, Dr. Shikha Roy, and HDFC Bank Cluster Head Agya Kumar Singh. Several dignitaries, including Dr. Avani Roy, BJP leader Sumit Mansinghka, JDU City President Sanjay Chaudhary, and Prakash Pandey, were present on the occasion.

A total of 19 donors donated blood at the camp. These included three female donors—Srishti Kriti Jaiswal, Nidhi Kejriwal, and Neha Kejriwal. Other donors included Prabha Ranjan, Mohd. Adil, Rajnarayan Verma, Aditya Gupta, Mohd. Saif, Vijay Bhushan Singh, Abhishek Lohia, Ajit Gupta, Amit Kumar, Naseem Rain, Mohd. Rizwan, Rishabh Jaiswal, Yashwant Chaudhary, Sahil Ansari, and Abhishek Kumar.

Praviv Ranjan of Blood Buxar said that blood donation leads to the formation of new blood cells, reduces the risk of diseases like heart disease and cancer, and maintains a balanced iron level in the body. He informed that before and after blood donation, tests for blood pressure, pulse, temperature, hemoglobin, as well as HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and syphilis are conducted completely free of charge, which provides information about the person's health status. He appealed to the youth to donate blood at least once or twice a year. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Vice President of Blood Buxar, said that one unit of blood donation can save the life of a needy person.

This was the third camp organized this month. He informed that the next blood donation camp, in collaboration with the Government of India's National Blood Donation Drive, will be organized on January 12, 2026, on the occasion of National Youth Day. Interested young men and women can register by calling 8804433322 or through the online link.

Priyash, the organizer of Blood Buxar, expressed his gratitude to all the blood donors and collaborators, stating that the organization is raising awareness by organizing blood donation camps every month. Under the initiative "Shubharambh - New Thinking, New Tradition," blood donation is being promoted on every auspicious occasion to address the shortage of blood in blood banks. He mentioned that HDFC Bank provided special support for the camp, and the blood donors were honored with mementos courtesy of Indralok Vani and certificates from Blood Buxar.

The success of the camp was largely due to the special contributions of Prabha Ranjan, Raja Babu, Ashish Kumar, Kumar Gaurav, Sumedha Kumari, and Nisha Kumari from Blood Buxar, and Santosh Kumar, Anurag Kumar, Sahina Samsi, and Awadhesh Ji from the blood bank.
