LARGE QUANTITY OF IMFL, SEIZED, SMUGGLER ARRESTED
At the direction of the Bhojpur DM, Tanay Sultaia, the prohibition department is continuously conducting raids against illegal liquor in Bhojpur district. In this sequence, Assistant Commissioner, Prohibition department Rajneesh got information that a large quantity of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was being smuggled to Ara from Uttar Pradesh in a Scorpio. He formed a team under Inspector Rahul Kumar Dubey.
ARA (RNI) At the direction of the Bhojpur DM, Tanay Sultaia, the prohibition department is continuously conducting raids against illegal liquor in Bhojpur district. In this sequence, Assistant Commissioner, Prohibition department Rajneesh got information that a large quantity of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was being smuggled to Ara from Uttar Pradesh in a Scorpio. He formed a team under Inspector Rahul Kumar Dubey.
The team intercepted a Scorpio near Ratanpur Over Bridge on Buxar-Patna NH-922 under Ara Muffassil police station and when checked, 1363 bottles of IMFL worth about Rs. 6 lakh was recovered from inside the Scorpio bearing registration number of Jharkhand State and arrested the driver Ranjeet Kumar son of Dadan Yadav of Kaushik Dularpur under Ara Muffassil police station and handed him to the court for further action.
