LALU’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED

BHABHUA---------------------------The 79th birthday of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on Thursday at Basatpur Chowk in the Tariyani block of Sheohar district. The event was organized under the leadership of social activist Dhirendra Kumar Birana; RJD leaders, party workers, and local residents gathered to cut a cake and pray for Lalu Prasad Yadav’s good health and long life.

Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that throughout his political career, Lalu Prasad Yadav staunchly championed the rights of the poor, farmers, laborers, Dalits, backward classes, and marginalized sections of society. He worked to secure dignity and political representation for those at the very bottom of the social hierarchy. He has played a pivotal role in giving a new direction to the politics of social justice.

The speakers remarked that Lalu Prasad Yadav is not merely a political leader but a symbol of hope and trust for millions of poor and marginalized people. Through his struggles and leadership, he endeavored to bring weaker sections of society into the mainstream and worked to strengthen social harmony and brotherhood. His ideas and struggles continue to serve as a source of inspiration for the youth and party workers.

A large number of RJD workers and local villagers attended the ceremony, including former MLA Sanjay Gupta, RJD District President Shivchandra Paswan, Ramanand Rai, Khushnandan Yadav, Vinod Yadav, Surendra Yadav, Arvind Yadav, Sanjay Singh, Ramchandra Gupta, Madhukar Ji, Ashraf Ali, Naushad Ji, and Anil Yadav.

A cordial atmosphere prevailed among the party workers and the general public during the birthday celebrations. Following the event, a traditional feast of *Dahi-Chuda* (flattened rice and curd) was organized for all attendees, drawing a large turnout. Those present exchanged greetings and wished for Lalu Prasad Yadav’s healthy, happy, and long life.

At the conclusion of the program, leaders and workers reiterated their commitment to social justice, brotherhood, and public service, pledging to further strengthen the voice of the weaker sections of society by following the path shown by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
