ARA--------------------------Chief Executive Officer, Jeevika Bihar, Himanshu Sharma, inspected the Jeevika Sewing Center, located within the Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and Allied Sciences, Koilwar (Bhojpur) campus.

During the inspection, he thoroughly observed the various activities conducted by Jeevika at the Mental Hospital campus in Koilwar (Bhojpur) and offered valuable suggestions for their effective operation. He inspected Shakti Didi's kitchen, which provides meals for all patients, Janaki Housekeeping and Laundry, which cleans the entire hospital and washes patients' clothes, and Didi's sewing house.

It is worth noting that Janaki Jeevika Mahila Sewing Producer Company Limited, operating under Didi's sewing house, is supplying clothing for children in Anganwadi centers across Bihar. The Chief Executive Officer commended this initiative and described Jeevika's role as extremely important in the areas of women's empowerment, livelihood promotion, and social service.

During the inspection, the concerned officials and the sisters associated with Jeevika were instructed to further strengthen the quality of work, timeliness and cleanliness standards.
