SASARAM----------------------------Political temperatures have soared following the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices. Raghavendra Kumar, Chief Spokesperson for the Jan Suraj Party, launched a scathing attack on the Central Government's economic policies, labeling them "anti-people." He stated that the increased prices of petrol and diesel have come down as a crushing burden upon the common people, who are already reeling under the weight of inflation.

Addressing the press, Raghavendra Kumar leveled a serious allegation: that despite having access to crude oil at concessional rates from friendly nations like Russia, the Indian government is making decisions under foreign pressure. He remarked, "It defies comprehension: when affordable oil is readily available, under whose pressure, exactly, is the Narendra Modi government digging into the pockets of the common people?" "The government must prioritize national interests above all else, rather than formulating policies under pressure from foreign powers."

Presenting price statistics, the Chief Spokesperson stated that the hike of ₹3.15 on petrol and ₹3.10 on diesel has dealt a severe blow to the country's economic backbone. He highlighted the following points:

**Impact on Farmers:** The rising cost of diesel will inevitably increase agricultural production costs. **The Inflationary Cycle:** Higher freight charges will lead to a corresponding rise in the prices of food and essential commodities. **Middle-Class Distress:** Students, laborers, and small traders are being crushed under the weight of this runaway inflation.

Cornering the Central Government, Raghavendra Kumar asserted that the nation is currently grappling not only with inflation but also with grave crises such as unemployment, corruption, and social insecurity. The surge in crimes against women and administrative failures have already eroded public trust; in such a scenario, hiking fuel prices amounts to a blatant disregard for the public's hardships.

The Jan Suraj Party has demanded that the Central Government immediately roll back the hiked prices. Issuing a stern warning, Raghavendra Kumar emphasized that the government needs to formulate concrete and transparent economic policies to provide relief to the common people.
