IS THE CM’S ANNOUNCEMENT FALSE OR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT’S NEGLIGENCE

ARA----------------------------On February 14, 2026, at 11 a.m., I arrived at the chamber of the Civil Surgeon of Sadar Hospital, Bhojpur. The failure to restore 24-hour health services at the Dr. Navin Chandra Ram Gulam Additional Health Center located in Harigaon Panchayat, Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency, is a serious matter.

On February 16, 2025, when the Honorable Chief Minister visited Bhojpur during the Pragati Yatra, the additional health center was inaugurated in the name of the Honorable Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navin Chandra Ram Gulam. On that occasion, it was announced that the hospital would have 24-hour access to doctors, nurses, medicines, ambulances, diagnostic and delivery services. The signboard still stands in the hospital premises.

But even after a year, the services promised have not been restored. There is no regular doctor, no nurse, no medicine, no proper diagnostic and delivery facilities. This has caused significant hardship to the people of Harigaon and the surrounding rural areas.

The question is bound to arise: was the Honorable Chief Minister's announcement merely a sham, or is this situation due to the negligence of the Bhojpur District Health Department?

An answer will be sought on this serious issue on February 14, 2026, at 11 am, in the chamber of the Civil Surgeon, Bhojpur, located at Ara Sadar Hospital.

On January 4, 2026, demands were raised by staging a dharna at the aforementioned health center, but even after 40 days, no concrete improvement has been made.

All social, political, and social workers are appealed to participate in this fight for public interest by reaching the Civil Surgeon's chamber at Ara Sadar Hospital in large numbers on February 16, 2026, at 11 am.
