PATNA----------------------On Saturday, a significant press conference regarding Bihar's new Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary, was held at the Jan Suraj Party office. During the event, the party's State President, Manoj Bharti, remarked that the very individual in whose name the election was contested—the person for whom the slogan "From '25 to '30, it's Nitish again" was coined—was ousted from Bihar within just six months. In more than half of Bihar's districts, government employees are not receiving their salaries; from this, one can gauge the dire state of the state's treasury. The individual who has now been chosen as Chief Minister represents a profound irony for Bihar. In Bihar—the land of knowledge—the Chief Minister today is a person whose educational qualifications remain a mystery; no one knows how far he has actually studied. The Leader of the Opposition, for instance, has studied only up to the 9th grade. The individual who has now been elevated to the post of Chief Minister previously served as the Home Minister. During his tenure as Home Minister, incidents of rape, murder, and various other criminal activities occurred on a daily basis across Bihar. The administrative machinery has effectively collapsed.
