PATNA--------------------------To mark International Level Crossing Awareness Day, a *Prabhat Pheri* (morning procession) was organized today within the East Central Railway's Danapur Division to raise public awareness regarding accidents at railway level crossings. Led by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shri Vinod Kumar, the procession started from the DRM office and proceeded to Danapur Station.

As part of this initiative, public awareness campaigns were conducted at various level crossings and railway stations.

During the event, road users were educated on safety rules to be followed at railway level crossings, specifically regarding the dangers involved while traversing them.

Additionally, members of the Scouts and Guides and railway supervisors informed road users about motor vehicle safety protocols across various rail sections of the division and distributed safety-related pamphlets.

Artists from the Danapur Division Cultural Association raised awareness about vigilance and personal safety through the staging of street plays (*Nukkad Natak*).

Safety information regarding level crossings was also continuously broadcast via audio and video clips at all major stations across the division.

Personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF), along with Senior Section Engineers, Junior Engineers, Traffic Inspectors, Safety Counsellors, and Scouts and Guides, counselled road users at level crossings along several rail sections, including Jhajha-DDU, Bakhtiyarpur-Tilaiya, Fatuha-Islampur, Daniyawan-Bihar Sharif, Kiul-Gaya, Patna-Gaya, and Dildarnagar-Tarighat.

On this occasion, Shri Rajiv Kumar, ADRM (Infra), and Shri Virendra Kumar, ADRM (Operations), along with other officials, Railway Protection Force personnel, members of the Scouts and Guides, and a large number of railway employees were present.
