INSPECTION OF DIVISIONAL JAIL

BHABHUA-------------------------A quarterly inspection of the Sheohar Divisional Jail was conducted under the instructions of Deepak Kumar, Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority and District & Sessions Judge. The inspection was conducted by Lalan Kumar Rajak, Secretary-cum-Judge of the Inspection Authority, who carried out a thorough review of prison security, cleanliness, and the basic amenities provided to inmates. Special emphasis was placed on hygiene and facilities. Following the inspection, Secretary Lalan Kumar Rajak stated that the primary objective of the visit was to assess the prison's internal operations. He closely examined the cleanliness within the prison complex and issued strict directives to the prison administration to further improve hygiene standards. Additionally, he inquired about the legal and daily amenities provided to the inmates. A legal awareness campaign was also organized for the inmates during the inspection, informing them about their legal rights and the availability of free legal aid.
