ARA----------------------------In the Arrah-Buxar MLC by-election, independent candidate Manoj Upadhyay filed his nomination on Wednesday, accompanied by a massive gathering of public representatives. Prior to filing his nomination, he offered prayers and worship at local temples—including Maa Aranya Devi, Badi Mathiya, and Ramna Hanuman Temple—and subsequently sought the blessings of the public.
Present alongside him during this event were members of the District Council (Zila Parishad), *Mukhiyas* (village heads), Ward Members, Panchayat representatives, thousands of supporters, and local residents. The nomination procession was carried out amidst the rhythmic beats of drums and the chanting of slogans. Manoj Upadhyay stated, "This battle belongs to the people. I have entered the fray to serve as the voice of grassroots workers against dynastic politics." Following his nomination, he affirmed that he enjoys the support of public representatives and remains committed to the development of the region in collaboration with all such representatives. He expressed his gratitude to the massive crowd that had turned out to ensure his victory and to bestow their blessings upon him.
