PATNA--------------------------On one hand, escalating tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States have heightened global concerns regarding energy supplies; on the other, local-level unrest concerning LPG availability also appears to be intensifying. Amidst this backdrop, the Phulwari Sharif police station has achieved a major breakthrough in a case involving the theft of gas cylinders.

The police have arrested Deepak, an accused individual who had been absconding for a considerable period and was allegedly involved in numerous incidents of gas cylinder theft. During interrogation following his arrest, the accused made significant revelations, based on which raids were conducted in the Sangat area. During this operation, the police recovered 10 empty LPG cylinders.

Police officials believe that, amidst the current uncertainty surrounding gas supplies, the recovery of such a large number of cylinders serves as a serious warning sign. It is suspected that the stolen cylinders were being illegally stockpiled in preparation for black marketing.

The Station House Officer (SHO) stated that the accused is undergoing continuous interrogation and his entire network is being thoroughly investigated. Authorities are also working to trace the origins of the stolen cylinders and identify the specific locations where they were being supplied.

Meanwhile, residents in the region have already been anxious regarding the availability of LPG in recent days. Consequently, this latest revelation has further exacerbated the concerns of the general public. The police have indicated that further arrests of individuals linked to this gang may take place in the coming days, potentially leading to major revelations regarding the case.
