PATNA--------------------------On Wednesday, a significant initiative aimed at strengthening administrative and skill development frameworks was witnessed at the WALMI campus in Phulwari Sharif, the state capital, when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the newly constructed 'Dakshta Bhawan' (Competence Building) at the BIPARD Skill Park. During this visit, which lasted for approximately one hour, the Chief Minister conducted a thorough assessment of the training infrastructure, basic amenities, and the overall utility of the building.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister toured various classrooms and engaged in direct interaction with the youths undergoing training. Encouraging the trainees to pursue their learning with utmost dedication, he affirmed that the state government remains committed to connecting the youth with opportunities for employment and self-reliance. He issued clear directives to the officials to ensure that the institute's operations remain well-organized and that every trainee receives a conducive environment for learning.

The Chief Minister also took stock of the residential facilities, mess arrangements, and hostels available at the Skill Park. Expressing satisfaction with the condition of the hostels—including the 'Himadri Hostel'—he emphasized that there should be absolutely no compromise regarding the fulfillment of the trainees' basic needs.

Present on this occasion were several senior officials, including Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, the Chief Secretary, the District Magistrate, and the Senior Superintendent of Police. Amidst stringent security arrangements, the entire campus appeared bustling with administrative activity.

It is noteworthy that the BIPARD Skill Park currently conducts several key training programs aimed at the skill development of the youth; these include courses in Networking (CCNA), Geriatric Care, Fashion Designing, Cooking (Commis), and Baking Techniques. Trainees here are provided with free accommodation, meals, training materials, and uniforms, in addition to receiving instruction in foreign languages.

To date, hundreds of youths have been trained under this initiative, many of whom have subsequently secured employment opportunities both within India and abroad. Emphasizing the need to further enhance the effectiveness of this initiative, the Chief Minister remarked that such institutions are playing a pivotal role in giving a new direction to the future of the state's youth.
