PATNA---------------------------During a visit to his home district of Munger on Sunday, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary delivered a clear and stern message. He stated that no house or building illegally constructed on government land within the state would be spared; they would be demolished under any circumstances. He clarified that this rule applies equally to everyone, regardless of who the individual may be.
The gravity of this tough decision can be gauged from the fact that Samrat Chaudhary received information that the administration was demolishing the stairs of his own residence located in Tarapur. Reacting to this development, he asserted that if his own construction on government land falls under the category of encroachment, the administration possesses the full authority to remove it. This statement reflects the state government's policy, under which making public land encroachment-free stands as its highest priority.
Notably, Sunday marked Samrat Chaudhary's first visit to his home district of Munger since taking the oath as Chief Minister. During this visit, he listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popular radio program, 'Mann Ki Baat,' at Baijalpur village in the Asarganj block of the Tarapur Assembly constituency. Following the broadcast, he addressed a public interaction session at the venue, wherein he reiterated his commitment to the preservation of government land and to good governance.
