ARA---------------------------A named FIR was lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost against seven persons including Shiv Shankar Yadav, Ravi Shankar Yadav, Prem Shankar Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav, Geeta Devi, Laxmina Devi of Molanachak and Rajiv Kumar of Pakadiyabar under Gajrajganj police outpost in connection with attack on police force and fleeing with seized motorcycle and key of the police vehicle. After the incident all the named accused are absconding. Police are conducting raids to arrest them.

SHO Gajrajganj police station Hari Prasad Sharma said that an SI Rupesh Kumar along with police force was checking vehicles on the road leading to Moranachak village under Gajrajganj police outpost area in the late evening when two youths came on a motorcycle without helmet. The police queried about the papers of the motorcycle but they could not show the paper and so the police seized the motorcycle. At this, both the youths scuffled with the police and called other persons of their family. All of them attacked the police with traditional weapons and also pelted with stones on the police in which the SI Rupesh Kumar was injured. Taking advantage of the melee, the youths escaped with the seized motorcycle and the key of the police vehicle. A video of this incident became viral on the social media.
