BUXAR--------------------------The issue surrounding the death of Bharat Tiwari in an alleged police encounter on June 17 in Bilauti village (under the Shahpur police station area of ​​Bhojpur district) is gaining significant momentum. Leaders from various political parties continue to visit the village in connection with this incident. On Wednesday, a delegation—including CPI(ML) National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, Paliganj MLA Sandeep Saurav, former Dumraon CPI(ML) MLA Dr. Ajit Singh Kushwaha, CPI(ML) leader and former Lok Sabha candidate Raju Yadav, and others—visited Bilauti alongside Buxar-based young social activist Ramji Singh. They paid tribute to Bharat Tiwari, met his family members, and assured them of efforts to secure justice.

Ramji Singh stated that the delegation of leaders also visited the specific site where Bharat Tiwari lost his life during the alleged police encounter on June 17. He stated that the delegation also met with flood-affected displaced families from Javainya village and listened to their grievances. The villagers informed the leaders that Bharat Tiwari had been raising his voice against corruption and for the rights of the displaced.

During the condolence meeting, CPI(ML) National General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya demanded an impartial inquiry into the incident, the immediate arrest of the guilty police personnel, and the filing of murder charges against them. Meanwhile, former MLA Dr. Ajit Singh Kushwaha assured the bereaved family of all possible support.

Ramji Singh remarked that the issue surrounding the encounter of Bharat Tiwari is no longer confined to any single caste, political party, or region; rather, it has evolved into a national-level issue. He claimed that leaders from various parties—including the BJP, Congress, JD(U), RJD, and Left parties—have met the family, and diverse sections of society are uniting to demand justice.
