CLASSES IN BEGREE COLLEGES TO COMMENCE FROM JULY 1

ARA----------------------------A review meeting regarding the proposed commencement of provisional classes in degree colleges starting July 1, 2026, was held via Zoom under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania. During the meeting, a detailed review of the preparations was conducted in light of the directives issued by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Bihar. The District Magistrate directed the concerned Principals, Acting Principals, Junior Engineers, Deputy Managers (Technical) of BSEIDC, Block Development Officers, and Block Education Officers to jointly conduct a physical inspection within two days and to revise the previously prepared estimates as deemed necessary. He emphasized that all civil works must be completed under all circumstances between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to ensure the smooth commencement of provisional classes in the degree colleges as per the scheduled timeline. Directives were also issued to ensure the availability of approach roads leading to the college campuses, as well as furniture, equipment, stationery, and other essential materials in all colleges. He urged the officials to establish mutual coordination and ensure high-quality arrangements within the stipulated timeframe. Those present at the meeting included the Deputy Development Commissioner of Bhojpur, the District Education Officer, the District Programme Officer (Elementary Education and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan), Acting Principals of the concerned degree colleges, the Deputy Manager (Technical) of BSEIDC, Block Development Officers, Block Education Officers, Junior Engineers, and the Principals and Acting Principals of the concerned schools.
