The Cabinet has granted administrative approval amounting to ₹982.58 crore for the widening and strengthening of two road projects spanning a total length of 80.728 kilometers: the Brahampur–Koran Sarai–Itadhi–Buxar route and the Ujiyarpur–Kukraha–Jamuha–Indore–Samda route.

Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari stated that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar is witnessing unprecedented development in its infrastructure. He noted that this project would provide a new direction to the economic, social, and commercial growth of Buxar district. Furthermore, he extended his gratitude to the Minister of Road Construction, Er. Kumar Shailendra, and the entire State Council of Ministers.

He remarked, "I am ever-ready to repay the debt of the affection, trust, and blessings bestowed upon me by the approximately 400,000 residents of Buxar through various development initiatives. My unwavering resolve is to live up to the expectations of the people."

The Minister added that for years, the people of the region had been demanding better road connectivity. Now, following the Cabinet's approval, residents of Brahampur, Koran Sarai, Itadhi, Buxar, and the surrounding areas will benefit from smoother and safer commuting facilities.

He further stated that this project would facilitate farmers in transporting their produce to markets, accelerate commercial activities, and make travel easier for students and the general public. Additionally, it is expected to generate new employment opportunities at the local level.

Mithilesh Tiwari affirmed that the Bihar government is continuously working to strengthen the infrastructure for roads, education, healthcare, and irrigation systems across the state—from villages to cities. In the times to come, Buxar will set new benchmarks in development.

He stated, “The trust of the people is my greatest strength. I will continue to work with complete dedication, honesty, and commitment towards resolving every issue in the region and fostering its development.” Finally, extending special thanks to Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, he remarked that under his visionary leadership, Bihar is advancing towards a new era of development and good governance.
