BRIDE DIED DURING TREATMENT IN BHOJPUR

ARA---------------------------A bride injured in a road accident on Bihia-Bihta State Highway in Bhojpur district succumbed to her injuries during treatment in Patna. The police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Her father-in-law Om Prakash alias Badhari Yadav lit the funeral pyre as the husband is struggling for life in a private hospital.

Dhan Jee, elder brother of the deceased said that his sister Lalita Devi daughter of late Dudhnath Singh was married to Monu Kumar on May 27, 2025 and after wedding, she along with her husband was going to her in-laws for the first time on May 28, 2025 in a car when a speeding truck dashed the car near Sikraul village under Sikarhatta police station in which six persons including the newlywed couple were injured. The collision was so severe that the car was completely smashed. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor referred the bride Lalita Devi to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
