COUSIN BROTHER AND SISTER ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH, TWO INJURED

ARA------------------------Cousin brother and sister died after coming in contact with live electric wife at Khakhobandh village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district in the morning while two others injured in their bid to save them. The police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured at Bihia Primary Health Centre. The deceased were identified as Kavita Kumari 16 daughter of Nandan Yadav of Khakhobandh villge under Bihia police station and Pappu Kumar 20 son of Kedar Singh of the same village while the injured were identified as Deepak Kumar 25 son of Raj Kumar Yadav and Santosh Kumar 20 son of late Lal Bahadur Yadav of the same village. The deceased were cousins and students of Intermediate.

Guddu Kumar, brother of the deceased said that wire of the boring had broken and fallen in the field. In the morning when his cousin sister Kavita Kumari went to the field to defecate, she came in contact with the live electric wire there and was lying half-dead there. After some time when her cousin brother Pappu Kumar went towards the field, he saw her lying there so he went to pick her up but he also got caught in the current. When Deepak Kumar Yadav and Santosh Kumar of the village came to their rescue, they were also caught in the current and were injured. The family members rushed Pappu Kumar and Kavita Kumari to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared both of them dead. The injured were admitted to the Bihia Primary Health Centre.
