BUXAR-------------------------The Buxar Civil Court was thrown into a panic on Friday afternoon when a bomb threat message was received on its official email address. The message threatened to blow up the court premises at noon. Upon receiving the information, the court administration immediately suspended all judicial work and decided to evacuate the entire premises as a precaution.

Upon the announcement, chaos descended upon the court premises. Advocates, court staff, clients, and citizens began rushing out. The court building was evacuated within minutes. A crowd of people gathered on the main road outside, creating tension in the surrounding area.

Upon receiving the information, the city police and administrative officials arrived at the scene. The area was cordoned off and entry was prohibited. The bomb disposal squad and dog squad were called in and a thorough search was conducted of all the courtrooms, record rooms, staircases, corridors, and open areas of the premises. After several hours of search operations, no suspicious object was recovered, which brought a sigh of relief to the officials. A cyber team has been activated to conduct a technical investigation of the threatening email. A detailed analysis is being conducted to determine the IP address from which the email was sent and its source. Police officials say that prima facie the case appears to be the work of mischievous elements, but no other possibility can be ruled out until the investigation is complete.

Additional police force has been deployed in the court premises as a precautionary measure following the incident. Security has also been tightened at other sensitive locations in the city. The administration has appealed to the public to ignore rumors and immediately report any suspicious information to the police. This incident has once again raised questions about security and cyber surveillance.
