SASARAM--------------------------In Kahuara village, under the Bikramganj police station area of ​​Rohtas district, a minor dispute escalated into a violent fight, and 70-year-old Laxmnia Kunwar, who tried to intervene, died on the spot. Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning and panic gripped the entire village.

According to reports, an argument broke out between two cousins ​​over draining drain water. Narendra Singh, on one side, and Raju Singh and Sujit Singh on the other, confronted each other. The verbal abuse escalated into a physical altercation. Seeing the fight in the courtyard of their house, Narendra Singh's mother, Laxminia Kunwar, ran to intervene, but was seriously injured. The injuries were so severe that she fell to the ground and died on the spot.

Laxminia Kunwar was the wife of the late Dashrath Singh. According to family members, she always tried to keep the family together, but in that very effort, she lost her life. Upon receiving information about the incident, Bikramganj SDPO Sindhu Shekhar Singh arrived at the scene with police. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.

Police have confirmed the assault in their preliminary investigation, identified the accused, and initiated further legal action. Given the tension in the village, additional police forces have been deployed to prevent any further untoward incidents.

A minor dispute over drain water, which could have been resolved through negotiations, escalated into bloodshed. The villagers are in shock and are questioning how this relationship rivalry escalated to the point where a mother lost her life.
