BJP MAHILA MORCHA HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE, FOCUS ON NARI SHAKTI VANDAN ADHINIYAM

ARA-----------------------------The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a significant press conferece in Arrah to address the issues of women's empowerment and political participation. The event was held at the Arrah residence of Barhara MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh, where the party's women leaders presented their views in support of the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' (Women's Power Salutation Act).

State Media Panelist Poonam Singh and BJP Bhojpur Mahila Morcha President Sushamlata Kushwaha attended the press conference as chief guests. During the event, they discussed in detail women's rights, their political participation, and their growing role within society. The leaders stated that the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam,' introduced by the Central Government, is a historic initiative aimed at empowering women.

In her address, Poonam Singh asserted that this Act would serve to provide the nation's women with a new identity and ensure their robust participation on the political stage. She highlighted that the BJP's objective is to ensure a 33 percent reservation for women in both Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly elections by the year 2029, thereby enhancing both the participation and influence of women in the country's politics.

Meanwhile, Sushamlata Kushwaha emphasized that the holistic development of the nation is impossible without the empowerment of women. Appealing to opposition parties for cooperation on this issue, she stated that this is not merely a matter concerning a single political party, but rather a matter of interest for the entire society and the nation as a whole.

The presence of party workers and women leaders during the press conference was also noteworthy. The primary objective of the event was to raise awareness among the general public—particularly women—regarding their rights and the political opportunities available to them.

The BJP leaders expressed confidence that, through the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam,' women's participation in the country's politics would reach new heights, marking a significant stride toward achieving equality within society.
