ARA---------------------The alleged fake encounter of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari on June 18, 2026, in Bilauti village (Shahpur block, Bhojpur district) has created an atmosphere of grief and outrage across the region. Former Sandesh MLA Arun Yadav visited Bilauti village to express his deep condolences to the family of the late Bharat Bhushan Tiwari. He strongly demanded an impartial investigation into the incident, as well as a job for Tiwari's brother and adequate compensation.

Former MLA Arun Yadav met the grieving family members in Bilauti village and offered them solace. Speaking on the occasion, he stated unequivocally that Bharat Bhushan Tiwari was a brave man and that his untimely death is a deeply unfortunate incident. Describing Bharat Bhushan Tiwari as a fearless individual, he noted that Tiwari always raised his voice for the rights of the poor and downtrodden sections of society. He emphasized that Bharat Bhushan Tiwari had not merely died but had attained martyrdom. Arun Yadav demanded that the administration and the government accord him the status of a martyr and construct a memorial in the village in his memory, so that future generations could draw inspiration from his struggles.

Reiterating his demands, the former MLA expressed sympathy for the bereaved family. He urged the government to provide adequate compensation to the family of the late Bharat Bhushan Tiwari. Furthermore, he called for his brother to be given a government job based on merit, ensuring the family had financial stability and could lead a dignified life.

Shedding light on the nature of the incident, Arun Yadav leveled a serious allegation. He stated that the entire operation appeared to be a staged encounter. He asserted that the incident was not a result of the local administration's or the Bhojpur police's standard operating procedure; rather, according to him, a special team from Patna had executed the operation in accordance with the Chief Minister's directives.

Exonerating the local police, the SP, and the district administration, the former MLA remarked that had the local police intended to take action, they would have done so long ago. He noted that while the local police had been keeping a close watch for the past two days, they had refrained from taking any drastic measures. In his view, it was evident that the incident was carried out solely in compliance with orders from higher authorities.

Arun Yadav termed the incident unfortunate for democracy, stating that such treatment of any individual is unacceptable. He expressed concern that the manner in which the events unfolded raised questions about the government's intentions. He called for a high-level inquiry into the entire incident to bring the truth to light and ensure appropriate legal action against those responsible.
