ASHA WORKERS BOYCOTTED WORK FOR OUTSTANDING PAYMENT

BHABHUA--------------------------On the call of Bihar State Committee of Bihar State Asha Workers Union (Maha Sangh Gop Faction/HECTU), Asha workers and Asha facilitators will start an indefinite work boycott movement from 23 June 2026 demanding payment of their pending honorarium and remuneration.

Officials of the union said that continuous demands have been made to the government and the health department for payment of the outstanding amount, but till now the payment has not been made. Due to this, Asha workers are facing financial crisis and are forced to face serious difficulties.

In view of this situation, on the call of Bihar State Asha Workers Union (Maha Sangh Gop Group/HECTU), an angry work boycott will be conducted from June 23, 2026. The union has made it clear that the agitation will continue until all the outstanding honorarium and remuneration is paid.

This work boycott program will be conducted in all the primary health centers and related health institutions of Kaimur district. The health department and the concerned administration will be responsible for the circumstances arising during the movement.
