PATNA----------------------------The Vigilance team in Bihar remains continuously active, working to apprehend corrupt officials immediately upon receiving information. Consistent action is being taken against corruption across the state.

As part of the ongoing crackdown on corruption in Bihar, the Vigilance Investigation Bureau in Patna has once again achieved a major success. This time, the Additional Station House Officer (SHO) of the Kadamkuan police station has been nabbed by the Vigilance team. He was arrested red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹7,000, an incident that has sent shockwaves through the police department.

In a significant operation against corruption, the Vigilance Investigation Bureau arrested Arjun Yadav, the Additional SHO of Kadamkuan police station, while he was accepting a bribe. This operation was conducted on Justice Rajkishore Path within the jurisdiction of the Kadamkuan police station.

According to reports, Arjun Yadav was accused of demanding a substantial bribe from a local resident in exchange for resolving a specific case. The victim lodged a complaint with the Vigilance Bureau, following which the team devised a strategic trap. The moment the bribe exchanged hands, the Vigilance team swooped in and apprehended the accused red-handed at the scene. Following his arrest, he has been taken into custody and is currently undergoing intensive interrogation.

This operation has created a stir within the police department. Senior officials of the Vigilance Investigation Bureau confirmed the arrest, stating that significant information has emerged during the interrogation, based on which further action will be initiated.
