BUXAR-------------------------Home Guard jawan Ajay Singh has been charged with rape and defrauding her of lakhs of rupees under the pretense of marriage. The victim, Sujata Chhetri, has filed an FIR at the Belaghatta police station in West Bengal. After filing the case, she traveled to Buxar seeking justice and met with Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya to explain the entire incident.

Home Guard jawan Ajay Singh has been charged with rape and defrauding her of lakhs of rupees under the pretense of marriage. The victim, Sujata Chhetri, has filed an FIR at the Belaghatta police station in West Bengal. After filing the case, she traveled to Buxar seeking justice and met with Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya to explain the entire incident. The victim alleges that Ajay Singh had physical relations with her under the pretense of marriage and, exploiting her trust, took large sums of money from her periodically. When she pressured him to finalize the marriage, the accused backed out and broke off contact. Feeling cheated and exploited, she initiated legal proceedings in Kolkata.

Upon reaching Buxar, the victim met with the District Home Guard Commandant and demanded departmental action. She also met with Shahabad Range DIG Satyaprakash and appealed for a fair investigation. The victim says she expects justice from senior Bihar Police officers and that strict action should be taken against the culprits. Since the case is interstate, coordination is being established between the Kolkata and Bihar police. According to police sources, detailed case details have been sought from the Belaghatta police station, and all facts are being investigated thoroughly. All eyes are now on how quickly the investigation progresses and when the victim receives justice.
