ARA----------------------------A farewell-cum-honor ceremony was organized at M.M. Women's College in honor of the retiring Prof. Latika Verma. The program commenced with the garlanding of the statue of 'Mahant Ji' and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Prof. Narendra Pratap Palit, Prof. Latika Verma, Dr. Sadia Habib, Prof. Rajiv Kumar, and Dr. Manoj Kumar.

Principal Prof. Narendra Pratap Palit honored Prof. Latika Verma by presenting her with a memento and a sapling. Meanwhile, Head of Department Dr. Sadia Habib and Senior Assistant Professor Mrs. Vinu welcomed her by draping a shawl around her shoulders and presenting her with a floral bouquet. In his address, the Principal stated, "A teacher never retires; this is not merely a farewell, but rather an occasion for honor—an honor that a teacher truly deserves." He lauded her contributions to the field of education. Prof. Rajiv Kumar praised her long-standing contributions, excellent teaching methodology, and unwavering dedication to her students. Dr. Sadia Habib described her leadership and guidance as inspiring, while Dr. Manoj Kumar characterized her as a punctual and conscientious teacher. Undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as research scholars, spoke of her contributions. Dr. Rupali Gupta, Dr. Priya Kumari, Mrs. Sneha Sharma, Dr. Kumari Shilpa, Dr. Rajni Narsaria, and Amarjeet Mishra from the BCA Department also shared their experiences, commending Prof. Verma's cooperative nature, leadership qualities, and dedication. The proceedings were anchored by Dr. Aparna Kumari, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Rashmi Gupta.
