A case has emerged from Prayag Bigha in the Dalmianagar police station area of ​​Rohtas district, Bihar, that brings to mind the infamous Jyoti Maurya episode. Here, a husband alleges that he facilitated his wife's education after marriage, but once she landed a job in the Bihar Police, she fled her marital home with her lover. Following her departure, the aggrieved husband has lodged a written complaint at the Dalmianagar police station, seeking justice.

Ajay Singh, a resident of Prayag Bigha in the Dalmianagar police station area, married Archana Bharti on January 26, 2025, according to Hindu rituals. For the first six months of the marriage, everything was normal, and Archana lived with her husband at their marital home. Husband Ajay Singh alleges that he fully supported his wife's studies after the wedding. During this period, his wife secured a job in the Bihar Police. According to Ajay, after getting the job, she was required to undergo training; however, on July 3, 2026, she allegedly left home with her lover.

Ajay Singh claims that his wife, Archana Bharti, was already involved in a romantic relationship with a young man named Vivek, a resident of Gandhi Nagar in the Dehri area. According to the husband, family members had previously caught Archana chatting with her alleged lover on her mobile phone. At that time, the family counseled her, the matter was resolved, and Archana assured them that such an incident would not happen again.

Ajay alleges that while leaving the house, his wife took her wedding jewelry and cash with her. Ajay Singh works a private job at the Dehri-Dalmianagar Council. Ajay Singh has lodged a written complaint at the Dalmianagar police station, demanding legal action against his wife and her alleged lover.

The police are currently investigating the matter. They are trying to ascertain the circumstances under which the married woman left home, who accompanied her, and the veracity of the allegations made by the husband. Simultaneously, the allegations regarding the woman and her alleged lover are also being probed.
