BUXAR----------------------------A day before the Raksha Bandhan festival, the occasion was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the I-MAS Computer Institute in Dhansoi market, conveying a message of the sacred brother-sister bond, mutual respect, and social harmony among the students.
On this occasion, female students tied *rakhis* on the wrists of their male classmates and pledged to uphold the sanctity and duties associated with the brother-sister relationship. The event conveyed the message that students studying together can pursue their education in a harmonious atmosphere, treating one another with the respect and cooperation characteristic of siblings.
W. Pathak, the institute's director, stated that such events have been organized at the I-MAS Computer Institute on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan for the past 15 years. He noted that students are encouraged to foster a spirit of sibling-like affection, respect, and cooperation towards one another.
He added that alongside academics, the institute aims to instill values, discipline, and mutual respect in the students. The institute also aims to foster a sense of unity and social harmony. When students study together while respecting one another, the academic environment is further enhanced.
W. Pathak remarked that festivals like Raksha Bandhan convey important messages of mutual love, trust, security, and respect to the students. Such events strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among them.
Great enthusiasm was evident among the students during the event. After the *Rakhi* tying ceremony, they exchanged festival greetings and pledged to move forward together in the field of education.
Students present on the occasion included Golu Kumar, Chaudhary Charan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and Jai Kumar, as well as Durga Kumari, Anshu Kumari, Riya Kumari, and Vinda Kumari, among others.
