BHABHUA-------------------------Two people were killed when they were struck by an unknown vehicle while returning from a relative's visit near Dasauti village, under the Mohania police station area of the district. District Council member and BSP leader Vikas Singh, also known as Lallu Patel, arrived at the post-mortem house at Sadar Hospital, Bhabuaan, at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. District Council member and BSP leader Vikas Singh, also known as Lallu Patel, reported that Vijay Musahar, 40, a social worker from Darauli village in Ruiya Panchayat, Bhabuaan block, and his brother-in-law, Virendra Musahar, under the Baddi police station in Rohtas district, were returning from Bamhor after dropping off Vijay Musahar's maternal uncle, who had passed away a few days earlier, when an unknown vehicle struck them on the Dasauti main road, killing them on the spot. Mohania police took the bodies into custody and sent them to Bhabuaan Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The post-mortem was conducted after a panchnama (inquest report) was prepared. The councilor demanded compensation from the government under the SC ST quota and said that uncontrolled vehicles have taken the lives of many people in Kaimur. The administration needs to immediately put a check on speeding uncontrolled vehicles. Expressing condolences to the family in this hour of grief, he said that I stand firmly with the family in every way in this hour of grief. The district council member provided financial assistance to the poor family and made complete arrangements for the last rites.
